On 17th November, Sam Altman got fired and it took the AI world by storm as there was no reason given but now new reports have come to light and suggests that Altman was playing the board members off one another who disagreed with his aggressive approach to rolling out AI tech. Him and Helen Toner always had this beef and when toner praised OpenAI’s rival is one of his papers, Altman tried to play it dirty but he wasn’t as good as he thought.

Mistral AI might be EU startup of the year, as they closed $415m in Series A at a $2 billion valuation. Co-founded by Google’s DeepMind and Meta alumns, they believe in Open models. It can be downloaded directly from here.
